Privacy Policy

Uneventful for iOS. Last updated: 22 September 2026 (purchases and Siri added).

The short version

Uneventful collects nothing. It has no account, makes no network connections, and contains no analytics or advertising. The record of your uneventful days is stored on your device and nowhere else.

What the app stores

All of this is stored in the app's own container on your device, shared only with the app's Home Screen widget. It is included in your device backup like any other app data. Nothing is transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules local notifications on your device. They are created and delivered entirely on the device; no notification service is involved.

Sharing

"Your year in nothing" renders an image on your device and hands it to the system share sheet. Where it goes from there is up to you and the app you share it with.

Purchases

The optional "Patron of Nothing" purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. The app only learns whether the purchase exists; it never sees payment details. Apple's privacy policy covers the transaction.

Siri and Shortcuts

If you use the Siri phrase, Apple processes your speech under Apple's privacy policy; the app receives only the instruction to log the day.

Ratings

The app may occasionally ask you to rate it using Apple's built-in rating prompt. That prompt is provided by Apple and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date.
