From the Dashboard, tap the + button to create a job, then open it and tap "Add Line Item" under the Estimate tab. You can price items from your Rate List or add a custom line item on the spot.
Your Rate List is your own price book, grouped by category (Devices, Wiring, Panels & Breakers, Lighting, Labor). Edit it any time from Settings → Rate List, and every new estimate pulls its pricing from there so bids stay consistent.
On the "Average Bid Price" screen, describe a job in plain language and SparkBid will generate a rough national pricing range from general industry knowledge. It's a starting point for a conversation with the customer, not a substitute for your own local rates — always verify before bidding.
Open a job and switch to the Change Orders tab to log extra work as it comes up, price it from your Rate List, and capture the customer's signature on the spot.
